I have a 60 inch King Kutter 2 behind my Bobcat CT120 HST. 14 pto hp. Works great in my sandy/clay/peat with sod. I just go slow and wanted to cover the 54 inch wide tire tracks.

I haven't measured yet but I suspect the CK27 with R4's is about 60" wide. A 60 would be perfect. If I had to offset by a couple inches I would.

I have a 5 HP walk behind and a 3pt 42" hydraulic tiller behind a large garden tractor. It takes a while to attach the 3PT tiller but the time saved using that is considerable. If it was just a matter the time difference saved I probably wouldn't even hook it up, but the job is incredibly better using the 3PT. The walk behind ends up with clumps where the 3pt makes the garden almost powder smooth and makes it more enjoyable working in the garden with little bitty seeds.

I invested in a quick attach from Tractor Supply during the 2nd summer I owned the B7510. Best money I ever spent. 98 degrees and 98 % humidity and a half hour struggling to get my Land Pride finish mower hooked up. I was wasted after that. No more. I can switch implements in 5 to 10 minutes. Less than that after I get my hydraulic top link installed.

Oh yes!! The PTO tiller does a much better job of preparing the soil for planting. No clods found anywhere. The wife loves that.

I bought a new BCS 8 HP rear tine 28 years ago and used it without any problem on my gardens until I started using green manure / cover crop practices and expanding into new ground a few years back. Plowing sod and these cover crops left big furrows that were a real challenge to til at my advanced age so I bought a 60 inch 3 PTH tiller. Works great but I won't get rid of the BCS. It is used more hours on average per year than the 3 PTH tiller. When a row matures early and I need to replant the row the walk behind is the only way to do it. I also have an ancient 5 hp troy built walk behind I use to scuffle weeds out between the row crop. Point is you can't have too much machinery. To help justify owning a 3 PTH tiller I custom til for folks charging $60 per hour. I think they are getting a great deal and I save them a lot of work doing it themselves with smaller equipment.

PS Should have mentioned my tractor is a B2620 so it only has 26 HP. In uncut sod I have to go slow and make a few passes to get to full dipth but I can do it.

The KKII 60" is already slightly offset to the right, aft looking forward:

Works real nice with my 62" rear track R1s.

BotaBill has got it right IMO...based on similiar needs. My 8 HP front tine Sears rototiller must have over a thousand hrs on it in the past 36 years. I call it "Rodeo" tilling. But at 79 I can still do it and have learned how to use it properly. Plus a walk-behind is more useful and convenient in small and confined spaces be it at home or for neighbors'. However, I sure wish that I could justify putting a tiller on my BX.:licking:

Those BCS are amazing machines. The no-belt walk behind tiller is real nice.

Do you have an accessories for your BCS?

No I don't have any accessories. But as I'm sure you know there are plenty available... sickle bars, plows snowblowers and the list oes on and on. Bill

I don't have any accessories to my 8 HP 722 BCS either, but looked at some a while back. They cost a pretty penny so you need to make sure they will be used.
