Tiller Tiller

I am looking to buy a used roto tiller 6 ft for a 30 Hp tractor.

I have found one for sale 1200$ like new, Lowery is the brand name. The owner said it was 1750 new. I have a Lowery box balde, I know they exist but can find no information on the internet re who sells this brand tiller.


I can buy a new one King Kutter, Farm Star etc.. for around the same price, but would rather buy a used good tiller than new cheap one.

Anyone having experience in this area I would appreciate some guidance.

I think you'll find quite a few members here who opted for the "cheap" KK and are quite happy with it. At least one member uses his commercially.
I would be more leery of a piece of equipment I could not find any info on /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif , but if it has more features/bells and whistles then maybe it IS worth getting over a new... less expensive tiller /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have KK 48 that I have put thru the ringer and it still works fine. Very heavy made, which is the one thing you want. My dealer had several he recommended, but none of them were made of the stuff this one is, and I paid less for it than all of the ones I looked at.
