My 1736 is good gor 3000 lbs at the end of the arms. So what are my consideration for general purpose lifting forks? I don稚 wanna get something overly heavy it値l pick up more than the tractor is capable of but I want them as long as I possibly can 48 inches I知 thinking. I see 42 and 46 inch are a lot cheaper and seem more in the load range for my tractorSo what痴 my considerations thanks.
My Mahindra 2565 will handle 3100# so I bought forks to handle 4000#. They are also 48" long which I wouldn't go any shorter, at least not for my purposes.
I don't remember what brand mine are but one nice thing about them is I can turn the forks upside down on the back frame if I need extra lift height. As shown in the picture, I get about 2 ft. more lift height by doing that. I've had 3 occasions to turn them over and later this week will be the 4th when some stone masons come to work on my chimney.

Edited to add a closer picture of the forks turned upside down.
