My advice to you is this... you signed up to get access to that forum. If the behavior in there upsets you, then sign out of it and don't go back.

When you see arguments/bad behavior pop up in the public forums, don't be like those guys and start arguing your points. Just report the posts so the moderators can deal with it. Responding only increases the chance that the threads will be closed or moved, because it becomes too much of a chore to prune out the bad actors.

I'm not sure what the purpose of the OP's thread is. If you don't like it don't go there. I have never been to that oxymoron Friendly Politics, and the Front Porch was once open to members with at least 50 posts. At some point while I was away for a few years it was moved to by invitation only. I don't miss it, if I want to get poked in the eye I have plenty of tree branches out there that I can run into.
