TinyTac

This is not the best place to mount the Tiny Tach- some day when I have more time, I will move it on top of the dash. It is, however, probably the quickest and easiest place to mount it. I used a small piece of angle aluminum and mounted through the screw that holds the mount for the lower screen. You should make sure it does not interfere with mounting and dismounting the tractor- it doesn't for me.

I use 2 way tape on all my equipment to hold the tiny tachs. No need to screw them in. Most all that equipment is used daily in the biz and the tape has always held it. Also, the batteries will last longer if you keep them out of the direct sunlight. I mount them out of the way and away from direct sunlight.

I had been covering it with a small towel to protect it from snowmelt (heated garage) even though it is 'water resistant'.
Based on your comment, I am going to go a step further and make a small elasticized cover for it.
