Power washing. When you power wash, don't get to close to whatever it is your cleaning. Some power washers will strip paint. I was at a body shop and the body man was repainting a hood on a car he had just painted. The guy got to close to it with a power washer and stripped some of the paint off it. The guy thought it was the body mans fault for not painting it correctly.

Also watch you own skin. I once ran the wand to close to my arm once, and it looked like a rope burn. You could also probably suffer some fluid injection from a power washer.

Good points.

When we first got our power washer, I was pretty young. My dad let me try it, and I had a hard time controlling the gun. One time, the gun got away from me, and I accidentally power washed a strip out of his leg. :ashamed:

Also be very careful around any shaft seals or sealed bearings. The high pressure water will get blown past the seal and cause rust or allow water into your oil, gear box, etc.
