Is there a difference in the overall height of a 24" R4 compared to a 28" R1? I'm trying to figure if the 28" R1 will give me any added height to the tractor (DX55).
Thanks.

Check out Titans site
Titan Wheel
Search by Description and enter R1 and then R4.
Looks like a 17.5Lx24 R4 is 48" and a 16.9 x24 R1 is 53.

Thanks for the link. It looks like 14.9x28 R1 is 54.1" diameter, while the 16.9x24" R4 is 50.1. A 3.5" difference.
Probably not much difference in clearance by the time you divide the difference in two, and figure for the extra amount the R1's will sink into the gound with fewer bars. It will just come down to better traction I guess.
Thanks again.

it looks as if you're comparing a different rim diameter-that could involve the purchase of new rims increasing the cost even more!
