What about rear tires on an Oliver 1650?

Tire pressures aren't on tractor tire sidewalls like automobile tires, is there a general rule of thumb to follow based on their size?

Rear tractor tires have a lot of volume inside the tire. A normal rule is they usually run low psi for a more spread out flat foot print. 10 to 16 psi is usually normal. If you have a service/ owners manual it would be a good place to check

i agree. most large rear tires run low pressures.. compaired to fronts / smaller tires.. etc..

Glad I found this thread. I just replaced a 13.6-28 tire and tube on my David Brown 780, yesterday. It took 30 PSI to get the bead to set with plenty of tire lube. But as was mentioned here the sidewall information didn't give a recommended PSI. My owners manual says 12 PSI for general work and 14 PSI for highway. I left 20 PSI in it last night and have adjusted to the 12 PSI today all is working well.

no problem with a lil OP to seat it. but yeah.. low double digits to run. 10 even if you need some more traction..
