hy folks,
i have got to replace one of my rear turf tires on my ym180,
on the rime there is a pin going thru the axle and also two bolts
with springs on them. then what appears to be regular lug studs or nuts behind them.
what all has to be removed take rim off?
thanks in advance any info will be appreciated.

You need to remove the pin and the bolts to separate the rim from the hub. And the hub can slide right off the end of the axle after those clamp-bolts are loosened.

You might be lucky and have enough clearance to slip the wheel over one remaining clamp bolt after removing one.

Question for anyone: does anyone run the hubs flat side out and the wheels outboard of that? This gives maximum width for stability. But there's no shoulder on the flat face of the hub to center the wheel, so only the lug nuts are centering it. I'm trying this on the second YM186D that I'm still tinkering around setting up. I put the hubs on the belt sander and confirmed they were ground flat on that outer face. But I wonder if Yanmar intended them to be run this way.

Hubs flat side out-- that's the way mine was set up when i bought it. The tires hang out well past the fenders (just like back in high school).

I haven't had any problem with it that way.

Mine were mounted outboard as far as possible and my hub hex is worn enough that the wheels wobble. I now have them inboard so they just clear the fenders
and are better for my 40" tiller on a YM-187d. New hubs have .040" clearance on the axle so I have not bought any. Do you agree that that is excessive on new hubs?
Many tire installers prefer the wheels be on the tractor for tire install.

Maybe reduce slop by slipping in some .030 shim stock on the side opposite the jam bolts??
