Is there any way to purchase rims that fit the Iseki Bolens G152? Tire size is 29X12.5X15. Also, are there any truck tires that might fit this size rim?
Are the standard herringbone treat tires adequate for traction or should I consider the ag lug tires?

That is not a popular rim on the G152. Depends what you are doing with it to determine if they have enough traction.

I have a Bolens G154 (Iseki TX2140) and want to change out the wheels to fit wide turf tires. Anyone know where I could get wheels that fit? Anyone know the bolt pattern measurements? The rear is 6 bolt and looks to be on about a 4-3/4" circle and the front appears to be a 4 on 4", but they are hard to measure.

Hi,

I have a Bolens G154 and I replaced the original factory turf tires with the R1 Ag Tires. I think that it was the best thing that I could have done for the tractor, and it has provided me exceptional traction in the woods, and driving the tractor. You should be able to call your local tire store and see if they can order them. If not, just look online by the tire size, or you can even try Ebay. As far as the rims go, you can try Sam at Sam's Bolens. Sam's Bolens He has a great supply of Bolens Iseki parts, and can usually direct you if you cannot find what you need. You can alos try the Yenibiz
site in Europe. There shipping is very expensive, but you may be able to reference the rims that you need. Yenibiz en Mod Manuals, parts, spare parts for tractors TX1300-196 If I can help, please let me know!

Look on yenibiz as suggested for 12" and 16" rims. They have diagrams showing the hub and bolt pattern dimensions. They are metric not english/imperial/sae/whatever you want to call non-metric.

Thank you, Yenibiz is a great site. It looks like these are stocked in Europe? At least that is the default currency. Anyone know if they have US stock?

NHmitch,
It looks like you had turf and went to ag tires. I am actually wanting to go the other way, from ag to wide turf and at the same time get a wider stance by reversing the wheels. Mine is the smallest of nine tractors on farmland and the ag tires dig into the pasture grass. If I need traction, I use a heavier, larger tractor. I really like this little tractor in the barnyard and gardens with the exception that it always feels like it is going to tip over on un level ground.

That makes sense then. I only have the one tractor and we use it for everything, otherwise I probably would have left the turf tires on it. The turf tires that my tractor had on it were loaded, and that did seem to make a big difference in the stability, and they were wider, but I just installed a ROPS on the tractor. I feel much better driving in the woods on hills, and working with it now. I am not sure what state you live in, but I know that in New Hampshire, Vermont, NewYork and Pennsylvania, they have a grant for purchasing ROPS. As far as the rims go, I have seen a photo of an Iseki TX 1500 with what appeared to be standard trailer rims on the front like the type you would put on a boat trailer. You might want to try these people on ebay, they say that they can get other size Iseki rims. ISEKI/BOLENS FRONT WHEEL RIM 1403-411- 0030-0-140341100300, 140341100400 - G192 | eBay If not, try stevenstractor.com They carry Iseki Rims. The tires should be fairly easy to come by. I hope that you can find rims and tires for a fairly reasonable price!

I saw somewhere that the Iseki/Bolens rims on some models are the same as some Yanmars. Anyone know if this is true or my Bolens G154 (3 cyl)

I have an Iseki TA207. I had Hey Machinery make a set of wide rims for it. I put industrial tires on them. He can take rims and make centers to any bolt pattern and offset you want. They aren't cheap, but they are very heavy duty.

Yes, it seems that a lot of the small diesel tractor rims can be interchanged. I don't know all the models that can cross, but there are some.

I found the picture where it looks like they put trailer rims on the front of the tractor.

The Hoye tractor site got back to me and they said they also can make any bolt pattern I want. They seem to be another good source. Now I just need to confirm what bolt pattern I have on my Bolens G154 (Iseki TX2140F). These are hard to measure but I think they are:
Where d=bolt hole diameter, D=large hub opening diameter, I=diameter of circle bolt holes fall on.
Front D=70mm. I=100mm d=13mm. 4 bolt
Rear D=90mm I=120mm d=13mm. 6 bolt

I learned a hard lesson this week. I had my front tires loaded, I don't have an FEL, and I use a dirt scoop, so I need at the weight I can get on the front. I used my impact wrench, on my original OEM rims, that came on the tractors, and I cracked them all the way around the bolts. I brought it to have it welded, and they looked at it, and said that it was not worth the money, and would be difficult to weld. I searched very hard for a new rim,a nd the only one I could come up with is one from Yenebiz, and the shipping anlone is over $200 from Europe. I did alot more research, and finally I found that the rime from a Kubota B7100, B6100, B5100 will fit perfectly, and the rims runs around $100. I had the dealer measure it, and it is a perfect match, and it even has the wheel weight holes that match up the same. I think that the rims are made by the same company in Japan for both Iseki and Kubota. I just need to paint it white when it gets here, and have the tire remounted. The part number for the tire is, 70000-00024. This site has it for $115, but I ordered it from a dealer because I wanted it to match exactly, and this rim has gaps on the inside. Anyways, i thought that you guys may be interested who have been looking for front rims. This is for the 5.00 by 12 rim size.

Thanks for the link. Those rims are very difficult to find. I thought I found some for $70/ea (from one of the threads here - maybe even this one). When I got the two I ordered I opened the box and everything appeared like they were the ones I needed (4 bolt holes, 5-12, etc.) After closer inspection they are for a TS1910 or something like that so all the hole patterns are too large but it wasn't obviously different from initial inspection. Kind of a bummer. I decided not to send them back but instead I'm hoping modify them some day with the help of a lathe and some welding/recutting. I think it can be done but that will be down the road sometime.

Don't throw away your old rims. I'd pay you shipping + something for your time if you're going to do that.

I also have a G152 and have looked for rear tires and found none, also the last time I tried to call Sam's bolens, last month the phone numbers were both out of order.

My new front rim came in today for my Bolens G154. It is a Kubota 70000-00024, and it is a perfect match. I think that it is the exact same rim as the OEM rim. Perfect fit. You can see the self inflicted damage I did to my old rim by over tightening the bolts with an impact wrench. Costly mistake. The rim was about $120.00 plus shipping to give you an idea. I wanted an OEM rim, but this is the same thing, just orange. Now to paint it white, and have it reloaded and mounted. Otherwise the tractor would look like a Bobcat tractor. Not that this would be a bad thing, I like their tractors, but its a Bolens, so, anyways, I thought you guys who were looking for rims might be interested.

Mitch
