All I know is I have a slow leaker on my JD garden tractor and I'm off to Walmart for some Slime, green/blue/purple/pink, doesn't matter to me as long as it holds air. Lots of thorns around the edges of the yard.

Wow, quoting myself :)

So I ended up getting Yellow, Simoniz Sealtite which claims to use ceramic fibers. We'll see if that tire is still holding air next weekend, if it is I may buy enough to do the rest of the tires.

Tod, I found that shopping around, including HF, I could usually find a gal for a better price per oz than buying the little ones. It keeps on the shelf and the gal jug comes with a convenient pump to pump the stuff into the tire.

I had a wheel barrow tire that would not begin to hold air. The rubber was coming apart and you could practically see through it on the midline of the tread. I put in some slime and aired it up and spun it to sling the stuff out evenly. It sealed just fine and survived heavy loads while looking like it couldn't possibly hold air. I had a spare and when I came across it AND a buddy had a neighbor lady who needed a tire I gave it away. Last I heard it was still holding air.
