Tires Tire Spacing problem

I just purchased a 2005 TC48DA last week and found today that there isn't enough space between the rear tires for attaching equipment. I have R4 tires that are wide and don't leave enough space between them. Has anyone tried to shim the rims out or reverse the standard mount to gain extra space? I have adjustable swing arms on the lower links and you can't use all the holes without them hitting the tires.

You can move the dish out to adjust for more space there are plenty of options from 71 to 95 inches out side of the tires.
