I'm about to spend some $$$ on a set of rear chains. Has anyone done business with this company and if so, do you recommend them?

Great prices and great service. I ordered some chains a couple of years ago and they arrived at my door in a couple of days.

I'll third that recommendation. I ordered a set for my 12.4 x 16 R4's on a wednesday and had them on friday. Cheaper than buying local even when considering the shipping. Great service and product.

Another Yes and Yes. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have a set from them that I bought is 2000. I have put them on my tractor to make sure they fit but have never used them yet. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Here is another chain discussion from a few weeks ago. I can highly recommend St. Pierre Chain & Cable. They are the people that supply the chains to all the highway departments and big trucking companies. A great product and service too.... TBN web page

Thanks fellas, I placed an order today for both fronts and rears, ladder type 2 link for the L3710. I'm not sure if I'll use the fronts or not but anybody that had seen my webpage knows I have a heck of a hill to get up and down. If you go over the edge you're in deep **** so I don't like to take any chances on it.

NoTrespassing,
I bought 2 link fronts and 4 link rears from tirechains.com last year. They made snow blowing easy even on the steep driveway and we had 152 inches of snow last season. I recommend them, however, be aware that, at least in my case, the chains supplied were long and I had to modify them by cutting and removing one set of cross links. Additionally the chain tensioner needed a lot of work. The point being, I suggest that you fit them when they arrive and modify them as necesssary, leaving them in the box until you need them might result in significant delay.

Anyone run chains only on the front ??

My only headache is loosing steering by having the tractor front slide on the snow even with the wheels turned. I can't think of a time when motive traction was enough of a problem to concern me. I'll creep if I have to...I just like to hit where I aim with the front of the tractor.
