Tired of CARB/EPA fuel cans?

I had one of those yellow safety fuel cans and it disappeared. I think somebody stole it from the pickup bed. I wish I'd been watching the first time thy tried to pour from it. The spout never worked from day one.

just an observation, why do thumbnail photos that are rotated 90 degrees appear correct way up when expanded/ blown up? This started about 4-6 weeks ago.

I bought 4 yellow carb type diesel cans from walmart and 4 high volume spout kits from TS. So a little less than $30 each I had a functional can. Just drill a 1/2" hole in the handle for the snap in vent and change the spout.

My local tsc sells replacement "water jug nozzle" with a separate breather cap that are the same thread as the epa style gas cans , and all you have to do is drill a hole to stick the vent in

I just got some of those and they work great.

They turn an otherwise useless can into something you can actually use to fuel your vehicle or tractor. Still I have to climb up on the tractor with the 5 gallon can but at least with the extension on the nozzle I don't have to lift it so high and the big nozzle flows fast. They have some smaller nozzles too so you can get something for your unleaded gas tank.

Farm stores around here carry five gallon plastic jugs that I have seen used for racing fuel. Jeg's carries them too. Toss in one of those fast flow nozzles and I think we have an ideal fuel can. An electric pump in a metal tank is better but this is good for a can filler.

Start to mass produce them and he would have to make them EPA compliant.

EPA is nothing next to CARB. These people are so idiotic that by the time they are done no product they touch or regulate is even useable.

Should have provided a link:

Flo-Fast

They are a bit pricy, but a quality piece.

Sure are pricey for what amounts to a plastic jug, a cheap hand truck and a hand pump. I should think you could roll your own for less and have a 12V electric pump into the bargain when you were done.
