Tires tires and rim for the 422/425

Better check w/ PT. When I asked to buy wheels and tires for my 1845, I found that the price on the list only applied when the PT was purchased, and the price separate from a machine purchase was substantially higher. I bought only the wheels.

Yes I just called and talked to power trac a few days ago and they quoted prices. I have lost the papers but as I recall the tires were around 170 something and the rims were reasonably priced maybe 40 or 50. It took them about 10 or 15 minutes to hunt the prices. I wondered why they didn’t just have a price list with them handy. If they were $125 rim and tire that would be good but the info I get is just as you said, its more. Let’s keep trying. I’m sure lots of owners of turf would also like a set of bars.

Have you looked at Cedar Rapids Tire Co.? They carry the Carlisle brand, and they list both the turf and bar tires which are OEM on the PTs. They also carry a beefier ply lug tire if you are in need of one. (Titan/Carlisle TruPower). The OEM Carlisle Super Lugs run $58 each.

Looks as though you are in a hurry for the tires/wheels. I had found that site somewhat by accident a few months back, and said to self, "maybe I'd better bookmark that for future." Glad it helped you. How were they with shipping costs, if I might ask?

On the wheels, you can go to Carlisle Tire & Wheel website: Carlisle Tire & Wheel
From their homepage, click on "wheels" on the menu on the left of the screen. This will open a PDF document. Look to the RIGHT in the middle. There is a category called non-highway wheels. I think, but I'm not sure, that their 23 x 10.50-12 rim is the PT rim. Check the diameter of the center hole, and the lug bolt pattern/centers to be certain. If it is, try calling them in SC (# is on homepage), and hopefully they can give you a dealer list. Ask for on-line dealer as they generally have better prices. Let me know how you make out on this.
