I'm considering buying the Titan SSQA to use on my John Deere 440 loader. I use my bucket most of the time, but I have a set of pallet forks with the skid steer universal plate that I'd like to use with my tractor, plus who knows what I'll buy in the future.
Question - some of the posts I've read on this forum about the Titan SSQA talk about cutting and welding as though they will only use the SSQA and are modifying their bucket. But since I use my bucket most of the time, are there any drawbacks to just leaving my stock loader/bucket connection as is, removing my bucket when I want to use my pallet forks, attaching the Titan adapter to my stock loader arms, and mounting my pallet forks to it? For the $385 for the Titan adapter this seems almost to good to be true for me. Are there other issues I'm not considering?
How are they shipped? I've read some confusing information in posts here compared to the Titan website. They say the adapter weighs 138#. Are they shipped UPS/FEDEX or freight?
Thanks for any information. Your experience is valuable.
