TL90 or TN95

Case is further bringing back the Farmall name, extending into the utility segment. JXC will be Farmall C, JX simply Farmall, JXU will be Farmall U. You have to go to the Case Machine Builder to see the new model designations.

The TL and TS do not share the same cab. The only similarity between the two are the blue roof and the New Holland emblem.

I am not sure if maybe the old small TS tractors might have shared the same cab as the TL but the TS-A has a much larger and nicer cab.

A lot of people get confused with the New Holland tractor model names but I have never understood the Case-IH letter system:confused:

Yea, I was wondering the difference between the TS and TS-A.

Hmm, up here the TL is available with a "compact-low clearance" cab that looks much like a TD cab or the high model that is very wide like the TS. The TL's never have the jumpseat fitted, don't think it was an option. I'm fairly sure of this anyways, I'll try to track down some pics.

Do you have any pics of the two different cabs available on the TL? New Holland North America only shows this cab which is the same cab that has been on this tractor since it was the 35 series

The TS-A cab is much larger and if you notice the TS-A cab door is the entire side of the cab. There is no post on the sides for the door to hinge off as the door hinges off the rear cab post.

Ok I'm talking about the older TS/TL/60 and 40 series cabs! Here's an 8160. There is room in the jumpseat for a good sized adult without cramping the driver at all.

Bah the attachment thing isn't working.

Looking over the cabs carefully, the TL may have a narrower cab. The 7740 cab I've spent time in is the same as the 60 series with a different trim and was the early TS cab for the lower models. I haven't been in a TL for a while but I thought it was the same.

The 60 series is the same as the TM.

The only tractor I am not very familiar with is the original TS line as there were not very many of them here. There were plenty of 35 series (TL) and quite a few 60 series (TM). The 35 series/TL has always had this low profile cab while the TS had a taller cab but I am not positive but I think it was its own cab seperate from the 60 series/TM. Hopefully Rick B or one of the other dealers will jump in and claify the early TS cab and if it was used on any other models.

I was looking at some pics of the early TS (the TS90 in particular) and the cab on that looks very much like the TL cab. You can see it is narrower on the TS frame then it is on the TL frame so it does look like the same cab but on a bigger frame.

Most of my ability to spot the particular cab is the rear window, it is a particular shape and it very wide. The other cues are harder, different roof panels and doors have been fitted in different series. The 40 series and 60 series cab structure are near identical from working a 7740 and 8160 side by side. The 60 is much nicer trim but same amount of room. RodinNS from ytmag could probably help. A friend of mine has what I think is a 35 series but I'm not sure, but its the same cab structure. The being able to stow your chainsaw in the cab, in the case, and still use the clutch is pretty unique.

Ugh, trying to track what NH models merged into what is ridiculous, someone needs to make a flow chart.

From the NW website it looks like both the T4000 and T5000 share that TL cab.
