I like Kubota tractors very much, I had a small one (L2350)year before last that I bought from an individual. It's just that the local NH dealer is easier to deal with than the local Kubota folks.

I hope you are correct about my remote, but I'm afraid you're not. I stopped by the dealer today and asked his mechanics to look up the valves, they think I will need another valve that costs $249 in order to get detents. Tomorrow I plan to use my cylinder with a disc, that will tell the tale. If NH equips the one single remote that comes on the tractor standard with a non-detent valve, they are going to get a piece of my mind, especially when and if they send me a new owner survey or if I can find a place to write them online.

Well my tractor does not have any detents on the remote, don't that beat all, I would have never guessed NH would equip the only standard remote with a non-detent valve. You don't get detents until you buy the second and third valves for a loader. Must have been a cost cutting decision on the part of NH management. Probably saved a few dollars per unit by putting the less expensive non-detent valves on as standard. I am going to write them and vent my displeaure with that idea, not that it will do me any good other than peace of mind. Also my tractor seems loud, one would almost need hearing protection. Is your machine loud? One thing I will say to the Kubota owners, I envy your quiet running engines.

That's too bad about the remote...I would not have guessed that they would have done that. I guess that they figure most people will buy the joystick/dual remote setup. I actually have not seen a single remote unit at any of the dealers around here.

My tractor does not seem abnormally loud to me. Did they have to modify your exhaust for the Woods loader? The Alo loader relocates the stack a little bit further back (actually a better position in my opinion).

I did write NH about the remote valve, probably hear from them this week if at all. No, they didn't touch my exhaust pipe for the Woods loader installation. It might just be me, but my tractor engine seems to rattle loud. Now that I think about it my 3415 NH I bought new last year rattled more at first. Maybe this one will improve, at least I can use some shooting range ear plugs.
