TN65 self destruct button?

   / TN65 self destruct button? #31
Am a J.D. owner myself, but wandered over to N.H. to see what was going on, and got sucked in by the self destruct button. I found the answer to crunching up the front grill on a J.D. when using the 4in1 to grub brush. My tractor came with a guard to protect the front end when loading trucks etc. I had a local fab shop cut out a piece of diamond plate aluminum, to which he welded two tubes on the back. These fit between the crossbraces on the guard frame and is held on with bolts. Deflects limbs and looks CLASSY /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gifWhere can I go to get one of those brush rake/grapple setups, would be perfect for my operation.

Mark, I just happened to see the SMV and thought I could also make out a tinge of blue. Since it had what looked like a finish mower on the back, I assumed it might be a compact. Essentially I took a SWAG at it. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Of course I didn't pay close enough attention to Cdrkilr's posts or I would not have asked him about where he is in Texas. He clearly said in another post that he had property near Brenham and Kerrville. I guess I'm a better tractor spotter than a reader. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Brushtamers, that grapple is a Worksaver and I've been very happy with it. I have grabbed stuff with it pushing and pulling that have broken loose all four wheels on that TL and the grapple can take it. I've also tried to pick up some trees that exceeded the capacity of the loader and no harm came to the grapple. I've seen the same model attached to a 72LA on a TM series, so I take that as some confirmation of my experience of this implement's toughness and capacity. I've seen other grapples with more steel on them, but why add to the weight (and reduce the capacity of the loader) if you don't need to to get the job done? I really did not think this was going to be as useful as it has turned out. At this point I could not get along without it. It is also handy for moving big rocks - you do not have to get off the tractor or have a helper chain them to the bucket - just pick them up.
