TN65s won,t move forward or reverse

This sounds like what happened to my tractor. Its been good ever since I did the repairs in 2012.

Yes, tractor will not move forward or reverse with shuttle shift. Almost as if the seat switch isn't working but there is no light indicator that is the issue (it always has shown me a yellow idiot light when I need to sit down).

I'm going to go thru this thread again to do the same troubleshooting steps to see if I can figure it out. I replaced the shuttle shift lever back in December and it worked fine until I was plowing one day. PTO works fine, 3 point goes up and down no issue.

Your problems sound very similar to mine. If you have full hydraulic operation loader, steering & 3 point hitch then it sound like the engine to transmission coupler?? If you do any testing be sure not to run your self over. I would jack the machine off the ground all 4 wheels if it's 4wd. Please keep me updated with your progress as inquiring minds want to know.

Just got the tractor back from dealer yesterday.

Root cause: Main computer

The tractor's computer wouldn't communicate with laptop software. No codes, no response. So they cleaned fuse panel, , replaced all fuses, cleaned wire harness for tach, replaced tractor CPU, reassembled. Works fine now.

Couple of other minor items were fixed such as my loader controls freezing on dump direction in cold weather and then they replaced a few dash panel screws and retainers. Gladly paid the $1950 which included 9 hours shop labor to diagnose and repair.

Could have been much worse. Hope this helps someone else.
