TnT on B2910 still need help.

I'm guessing that you went for the smaller cylinder initially to get the 3/4 inch pin holes ?
I'm going through the same thing right now for a different tractor, but I'm still in the decision process.
Don't forget the bushings (-:

BTW, I was thinking of using Surplus center item 9-1343 hydraulic lock valve, but I don't know how much hassle it would be to find all the fittings to connect it with STEEL LINE to the cylinder - and finish up with a CCM looking item. Has anyone else done this ?

Don't know how to change the title from "still needs help"
But that's OK because I still would like any other comments or help on this subject.
Maybe it could benefit some others
Well, Good folks, it looks like I'm finally finished with this TnT addition.
Thanks again to all who helped with this endeavor.
Hope this post will help others that may want to add TnT.
Before you order any parts go back and read the advice I received in this thread.
Remember hydraulic cylinders do not PULL as much as they PUSH.
If I could start over I would also use straight hose ends at the pump instead of the 90 degree that I have.
With 90 degree on both ends of the hose it gets a little difficult to attach both ends if the hose ends are not "aimed" in the necessary directons.
One of mine has to have a slight twist to line up for connection.

Ok since I just stopped the slight leak I have had since day one here is a pic of the finished installation.

The end result looks pretty good, and that's what counts.;)

Yup, I agree with Bird. It looks like a pretty good installation. You must be excited having finished it and now it's ready to use.
Nice job.

I have an L2800 and would like to also add TnT. Any idea what your total costs was? Thanks.

It doesn't look like you set up the valves to use Power-Beyond. My memory is a bit faded on the topic, but without it the use of any down-stream function will create backpressure and lessen the force available to you TnT. If you 3PH is trying to lift, for example, it will lessen the pressure available to your TnT. This might be contributing.

This thread covers a TnT retrofit to a B2910 I did several years ago. It looks like I used 2" cylinders.

The part # 9-1343 is huge-Size (5" x 3 3/4" x 1 3/4")

Look how nice and clean the CCM cylinder has been designed.

Just checked one of my supply books. Baum Hydraulics. Do a search for "104075". this is their catalog #. Bottom of page M7 is a top link cylinder made for this application. 3" bore by 10" stroke with a 1-3/8" rod. Baum also has a lot of other stuff for you Ag guys, good catalog to have around.

The CCM products are cheaper and available as CAT I and CAT II...

The Baum Unit is a CAT II only...

TnT looks like a great feature, could you "T" into an existing line to get hydraulics for the valving, as long as you "T" into the system for the return line as well??? works in theory...right???
