To all veterans out there, THANK YOU!!

Having served my time in the Army Reserves for six years, I don't feel I'm in the league with those who did the real thing. Thus I flag the flag each day at sun up and bring it down at sun down for those who put it on the line, be it for all our wars. The MIA's are all around the globe and are especially on my mind at this time. May they rest in peace. But a special thanks to those that are all messed up physically and emotionally. Their sacrifices last a long time.

Salute to all veterans today, here and gone on to better places. My dad chased Rommel across Africa. I never served, but I'm thankful to all that did. I have promised myself that when I see a uniform or vet cap of some type, I will step up and thank them personally. What they go through, none of us should ever have to know. Oldballs, gmikem206, jerrybob (and any others I missed), it is hard to know what the world might look like w/o you guys and what you did. And just for clarity, reserves or those that stayed state-side, you were there as well. Pretty much the luck of the draw in some cases whether you saw action or pushed paper across a desk, but some of that paper had to be pushed and if things had gone really badly, you'd have had to drop the pencil for an M16 also.
