Ok I am not sure there is still a demand for these tires, but I had a heck of a time finding them, I have a b7100 which was shod with the turf wheels. I needed much more traction than they offered. I live on a hill and have loads of dirt (mud) and even more snow in the winter. So I found the flotation ags in a 29x12.5-15 and installed them on the rear, these are not to hard to find. I got mine of Tires-easy. they are the carlisle Tru-power Carlisle Tire & Wheel Company
.... Then off to the front dilemma, I searched long and hard. Turfs or even trailer tires were not hard to locate but the tread patterns were not aggressive enough for my use.
Well I found a set of hdap tires to meet my needs, (heavy duty all purpose tires) these aren't usually rated for the weight but I found a set of heavy duty ones. Most here were buying the Firestone Turf and Field G-2 for front use which are now impossible to find except through dealers and even then. They said I would have to wait 60 days and they where 150 each. They weight rated at 875-925 per tire.

I was just about to give up and get these when I came across the Carlisle All Trail's
Carlisle Tire & Wheel Company
To me they are more aggressive than the Turf and fields, also the carlisle all trails are supposed to be great in snow and ice conditions winter will tell that one. They have a 4 ply construction and are weight rated at 1160 lbs !!!!!!! now as for the size, its intimidating, they are 20x10-10 these will fit gents. In fact they are skinnier than the 20.5x8-10 trailer tires I pulled off. If you look in specs on them they say they measure 20.1 x 8.9 but I found them to be thinner yet than that once mounted. They fit perfect I have run them for two weeks now including loading the FEL heavy they take the weight easy and I enjoy the extra traction. Also They only cost 53 each and I was able to get them from tires easy also. I just thought I would let everyone who is looking for this elusive size know what I did. I know the search helped me find the turf and fields so hopefully this will help someone else out.......

What was the shipping for these... Carlisle Tire & Wheel Company

I got a quote from Firestone for these in 21x8.00-10 for $44 a piece. They would have to order them.

I wanted to update everyone with the info I just got from the Kubota Dealer. He called around and tried to find 21x8.00-10 tires for me and they are discontinued everywhere I guess...

Anyway he called the Kubota Engineers and they said that you could put a 22x8.50x12 Tire on my B7510 with no problem and he quoted me a price with with rim of $129.00.

So knowing this we can put a 22" tire on these tractors with no problems.

What's ya all's input on that? :confused2: :thumbsup:

I thought this is how the tire numbers broke out

22x8.5x12

22 = Height of tire
8.5 = Width of tire
12 = Rim size

So I don't see how a 12 rim/tire would fit on the factory 10" rim.

Would it?

Well he said I would have to get a new tire and rim...

I was wondering if this tire Carlisle Tire & Wheel Company

The 22x9.50x10 nhs would fit on my rims now that have 21x8x10 tires on it.

Man you must be reading my mind. I was just looking at that as well. It would be a little taller and wider.

Yep... I would much rather get that tire than give Kubota $129 x 2 for new front tires.

This is from the Firestone website... And I take that you can't go with smaller tire's but you can go a little bigger... Because you want the front to lead the rear.

# Lead/Lag refers to the relationship between the speed of the front wheels and the speed of the rear wheels. If the front wheels speed is faster than the back wheels speed, we say that the tractor has a lead condition. If the front wheels speed is slower than the back wheels speed, the tractor has a lag condition. And if the front and rear wheels move at the same speed, the tractor would have zero lead/lag. But since front and rear tires are always different sizes, thereç—´ always going to be some amount of lead or lag.
# The desired amount of lead is 2 percent, which means the front wheels are 2 percent faster than the rear wheels. Anywhere from 0 to 5 percent lead is considered acceptable. But no amount of lag is acceptable. Thatç—´ because a lag condition puts excessive strain on the tractorç—´ transfer case, and it causes the front tires to wear out more quickly than they would under normal operating conditions.

This might be a better option yet.

Carlisle Tire & Wheel Company

You could run the Tru Power 29x12.50-15 on the back

And

You could run the AT101 Chevron 21x11.00-10 on the front.

It says the MTD Diameter is 20.9 and ours is 20.5, so this is closer yet height wise. This would just be a toutch taller tire, and 2" wider there should plenty of room.

Yep that would be an option, but I don't need rear tires. So I am still gonna try to find tires for the front and Kubota says you can go with up to a 22" tire no problem.

So My main question is still will those 22x9.50x10 tires fit the front rims from here... Carlisle Tire & Wheel Company.

I think they will because looking at the data they are only 1.75" wider than the stock tire.

You can get info on the stock tire from here-- > Firestone Agricultural Tire Division

The TURF AND FIELD TL G-2 has the correct size and I am still waiting from a Firestone AG dealer to tell me they can order them. She quoted me a price of $45 each.

So I guess I will just have my dealer find me some after market tires to replace the fronts and knowing that we can goto the 22" opens a big window of options.
