I posted this in Comparisons forum, but wanted to add it here to see what you Kubota owners think of my 2360 issue below:

Hi folks, new member, first post. I hope to pull the trigger on a SCUT pretty soon, been reading and comparing for some time. This week drove a TYM 223, nice tractor, I like the dual hydro pedals. It was the first tractor that I drove and I was impressed. Dealer is 70 miles away, however, and these are not that well established around here yet. Sat on a Cub/Yanmar sc2400, I like the looks of this tractor but I hate the funky rocker hydro petal. I think it would get in the way of comfortable foot placement, any experience here? Today drove a Kubota BX2360. Sweetest tractor yet, nice big platform, I was impressed with it. But, with the seat as far forward as possible it is still quite a reach to the steering wheel. I'm about 5'8", so I'm not the smallest guy around, maybe my arms are short! Reach to the pedals is just fine. Anyone run into this, am I missing something? I was glad to find you all here and have learned alot reading your experience!! Coldstream

I'm 5'11" and have no problems with mine. My wife is 5' and she didn't seem to have a problem. Make sure you have it slide forward all the way. Sounds like it wasn't.

I'm 6-1 and I have the seat all the way back. If I had the seat all the way forward, I think the steerting wheel would be under my chin. My son is 5-8, and he doesn't have any problems.

I'm 5'7" and have the seat all the way forward on my BX1860 and it feels just right. Again, as stated, make sure you have the seat all the way forward. I tried a demo version at one dealer and the seat wouldn't move forward so at first I had the same concern but wasn't sure since I couldn't move the seat.

An option would be to strap a small pillow to the seat if it's really a problem, or maybe the dealer can move the seat on the mounts for you - not sure if it can be done, but I'd ask if that was the only thing holding me back.
