That sir is an excellent question! I've asked myself that before yet here I am. I guess deep down I feel people want to learn even though logically I know that's not true. People just want to be right and have their team win. I'm going to try to avoid these topics going forward - wish me luck.

Oh, gotcha, well my ego is OK if that's what you're worried about. Didn't mean for it to come off as defensive, it's just that these threads always turn into Groundhog Day where people go round and round chasing their tail.

My experience has been that if you try to ask questions to learn about your concerns, all that you will get are smarmy answers such as yours. I've been interested in EVs since before that became a catch word; but am still waiting for them to become practical. If I spend $70,000 on a vehicle it's going to have a plow, dump body, and 15K< towing capacity... and a 20 thousand dollar rebate. To spend that kind of money for something just to drive around in is crazy.

I would not buy an EV right now, but a hybrid may pique my interest. I know that I am out of the new diesel truck market. The prices went stupid, and with the war on oil the investment seems to be bad. My old but clean and trusty Cummins powered Dodge should last me the rest of my life.
