TODAYS SEAT TIME

I am bumed. My wife is running for county office. Two opponents. Every last second of free time is spent campaigning. Door to door is the only answer to an election like this. Primary is Aug. 3. No opponents from the other party so if you win the primary you are in. My tractor time is limited to 2 hours on Sunday mowing around the place. I had visions of a very productive summer. Oh well. If she wins, I retire in Dec. So I guess it's worth it.

Went to the neighbors today to dig out a stump and level the ground. One of their dogs had got its head stuck under the shed so they wanted to put chicken wire around the bottom to keep them from going underneath. Went well and got the stump out without hitting the shed.
Also pulled out a couple of ground rods (pic #1) that must have been down about 5 feet. Good neighbors so it was a pleasure to help them out as he is now 75 years old and digging is getting a tad hard for him.

Mowed a little with the BX this morning.

Now this is the way to move all the junk from your house.....the bigger tractor has forks, they were indispensible for moving the heavier stuff....
Before I get nabbed, the ROPS was down to get in/out of the garage.....!

Got spared the rain that fell all around my place yesterday and got about two hrs of mowing in after work. Hot and humid day here in Ohio.

I had one in 1962 just like it except it was black.
I called it my black beauty.

It is a beauty and thanks for posting, I love older cars.

Today's seat time was three hours of bush hogging and a little road maintenance and even with AC/cab, it was still a little warm. My daughter came up yesterday and mowed my yard:thumbsup:

I got about 2 hours yesterday and today using my potato plow to dig a few rows of potatoes. Digging and picking up. We usually dig most of the patch for new potatoes to can. New potato taste all winter long. Got 12 ninety foot rows left.

About 4hr.s today,bush hogged out back bout 3 acres.
Used my L3400DT and Bush Hog SQ172.The squealer didn't even squeal.
Finished just in time before "The Warden" got home,I"am sure she"ll be happy!:laughing: (BTW rops down cause I was under some trees on flat hard soil)
