Well I got my T1510 back from the dealer and I spent about 2 hours in my dad's garden.

It hasn't been tilled in 2 years and the year prior to that he had laid down landscaping cloth / weed fabric.

The weeds grew through it and it was literally rotting when you try and pull it up by hand.

I don't want all that fabric getting wound around the tines and shafts of my "gotta get yet" rear tiller

I tried scraping off the top 2 -3 inches to get rid of the fabric, but as normal, the bucket wanted to do 6 inches deep.

So, I spread everything around and handpicked the fabric out and then dragged everything back in the holes.

I guess that is what I get without having the right implements yet. A box blade probably would have been nice to use here.

But like they say....any seat time is fun time. (Even with or without the right implements.)

I spent about 4-5 hours today: removing BH & FEL, mowing 2.5 acres (well, most of it...), reinstalling BH & FEL, cleaning up debris, going over spots I missed mowing, digging out some stumps...etc...

Well, I haven't gotten too many hours in the last couple of months.. but here are some highlights...

fixed the driveway for neighbor-- she's a retired school teacher on a fixed income. just needed some box blade work.. it's about a 1/4 mile country drive...
so that was a bit o work..

Borrow another neighbor's tiller and tilled the failing grass growth in the back yard and laid sod.. Bermuda actually! Got a great deal at $90 a pallet and the yard below is 2 pallets!

Contour mowed half of the front forty, takes a little over and hour. Then threw on forks and ripped up the sled bridge on an ITS trail and replaced it with a new one made from two conduit pallets reinforced with old logistics bars from the big truck.

Then, ADD (Oh Look, a chicken! disorder) kicked in and I used the forks to remove a small pine stump that was down by the bridge.

Brought some dirt home from the farm to fill some bad spots in the yard. Four scoops full with the 790. Cooked an outdoor dinner (noon) while we were there! ~~ grnspot110

Lifted bundles of shingles onto my brother's house the hauled rock and "bush hogged" a little.

I spent most of the day in the seat: digging out a huge stump, filling in holes, cleaning up a demolished barbecue, dozing a path through "the jungle", and chasing geese...etc...

4 hours Saturday and 3 hours Sunday after church bushhogging, digging out stumps and moving limbs (still moving them from the 2009 ice storm).

pushed up stumps, dug up willow trees, and bush hogged. All in a beaver slough that this is the first time I've ever seen dry enough to get in with a 4 wheeler much less a tractor. Killed a lot of snakes.
