TODAYS SEAT TIME

   / TODAYS SEAT TIME #591
Two hours learning how to use the 72" box blade I picked up thus morning. Getting a nice big spot leveled and ready for the garden next spring. :)7

Continued taking junky balsam fir out of a section of woods that is better suited for hardwood. I salvage what logs I can and leave the butts with stump rot lie.
The tamaracs are starting to turn gold now. The last of our color changes. Winter is coming.

Mowed the lawn with the BX and then aereated it with a pull behind aereator. Also spread lime and fertilizer but that was done with a push spreader and not the tractor. Next will be the leaves. I love the fall season, my favorite time of the year to be outside.

Did about 4hrs today and ploughed 2 acres of field (6ac total) ... was slow going since this is the first time it has been worked in decades. I bush hogged this field earlier in the summer, and the root balls (mostly junipers) were getting caught up on the plough and required repeated cleaning ...

Can't really call it seat time, but used Bigger Blue as portable staging and then to bore a new hole in the blue clay for Der Pneumatic Kerplunking Device.

Apparently I don't have pictures of the staging yet.
