TODAYS SEAT TIME

Five hours finishing regrading the gravel drive. Six years of neglect and PO's driving way too fast finally undone. :)7

Today was more just cleaning up the old fire pit, moving some rocks from a pile in the front yard, digging a trench for drainage, got stuck enough I had to have my wife's 4x4 Dakota pull the BX out of the mud. Hauled more clay to fill in a low area near the driveway. My wife took the BX away for a while so she could play a while, she hauled clay and moved rocks too. In the mean time, I put the 5th wheel camper away.

Last week we got a smokin deal on three Land Pride implements. We got a reverse rotating tiller, box blade and a landscape rake. I have yet to put them to use, hopefully soon. I'd like to turn the garden under this fall so the tiller will come in handy.

So far I've put about 25 hours on my new BX25.

Had one of those three things go wrong days yesterday - nothing serious though.
Bent the lip on my Farmi winch in the morning. Must have choked a log up to tight. In the afternoon I tore a tire off my trail mower trying to get to close to an old stone wall. Then last night Lady, my german shepard and good friend, came in just a stinking. She messed with a skunk and apparently lost. BigTime.
Keeps life interesting I guess.

Dug a 20ft fire pit. Knocked down an old (100yrs) 10x14 Chicken house. Pushed, pulled and dragged the Chicken house debris into the fire pit. Watched the inferno burn and prayed I wouldn't catch my farmer friend's field on fire. Stepped on a huge nail left in a board from the Chicken house, went to the medi-clinic, got a tetnus shot, got back on the tractor, gave the lawn a final pre-snow scalping....called it a day.

Used Bigger Blue for portable scaffolding and took pictures just to give fits to Der Saaftee Poliza.:D

Much easier than messing with scaffolding or moving ladders!

Still picking away at the balsam fir with stump rot. Almost done with this stand. There is some sun light getting in there now. Had a dusting of snow yesterday morning and it spat snow all day. It was to windy for me to work in the woods so did some work on the landing. Today was real nice weather.
