That's the plan. Drag it up with a winch with assist of the tractor. Secure it and build stairs.
10-4 sounds like a plan. Make sure your platform is braced in real good shape before you start dragging up hill against it. That stand looks pretty solid.

Poles are cemented 2 foot in the ground. I'm gonna attach a 10ft 2x6 on each leg to support it as we winch it up.
We talked about cabling it to help secure it. We get pretty strong winds off of lake MICHIGAN.

First paying job with the tractor...and maybe my last! Lady had a septic put in, turns out the fill was more rock than dirt...

"Sure, I can get the rock out and get it smoothed so you can plant and then use the riding mower. Three, maybe 4 hours at $50 per hour."

It was a rock festival...every pass with the landscape rake popped more rock.

Ended up 8 hours...and half of the time it was raking by hand...the tractor proved too agressive, and there was too much rock embedded.

But I honored my 4 hour estimate...first pic was Before - last two are After.

Not perfect, but much better. Lesson learned: Don't underestimate the rock!

Looks real good though. She should be very happy.

Nice job. Experience is the best way to learn.

Found what could be the only mudhole in the state. Property owner said "just follow the path."

Much better. After the fact he said "I should have warned you it might be wet."

One of the side benefits to having my loader and bucket on the front. I can usually push myself back out again. If I didn't get in too far anyway. Had to do that a couple of times finding mud holes in tall grass is not fun.

Used the loader, to spread some compost. I first thought of just using a wheelbarrow, but that would be silly...
