When I test drove my TA295, I reached for the lever to drop the 3 point hitch. No lever. Instead, there was this "weeny" little toggle switch mounted down by the seat, a 3 position, momentary double throw, with a rubber boot.

It works fine, but I would like someting more substantial. I would actually prefer a mechanical valve instead of an electric valve. There is a large square hole towards the back, that looks like something else from the factory was there. What do other TA isekis have. Just curious. I'm probably going to at least get some bigger switch.

More than likely that large hole was for the computer used to control the three point hitch. My Kubota GL-21 still had it and it is functional. Mine has both the toggle and a conventional lever. The lever though is attached to a transducer so it is electrical also. I can't get it to switch over to the lever though because everything is in Japanese.

I test drove one of the TA's also and it had a similar set up. Very nice machines.

I think I will make a bracket out of 2" x 1/8" flat stock, bring it up to just a little higher than the seat, and install 2 momentary push buttons, just push one for up and push the other to release. The toggle switch isn't heavy duty enough. I do miss the lever though.

My TA207 has knobs under a cover. I can set how high it will raise and how low it will go. I just push a square button beside the steering wheel to go up and hit it again to go down. I also have a slide lever that will over ride the other control and work like a regular three point. It is proportional just like the old type, but it is electric over hydraulic.

Hmm, maybe mine isn't wokring then. The slide doesn't override the toggle. But it does do something neat when I have it in the all the way up position when I first start it. It kind of jumps if I move it. That tells me that it is at least getting a signal.

If I ever get the time I'm going to realy tear into that thing!
