I have not seen any sign of deer in my garden, but my corn plants have been disapiering. No footy prints, but lots of crows. I think they are getting them.

If you still have some leaves left on the plants they should still grow. That happened to us last year.

From what I remember there are two types of tomato vines... determinate and indeterminate(is this right, folks?). One type is a vine that if the end gets cut, it's not gonna grow any longer. The other type is more like a bush and should sprout branches and suckers and keep growing.

What is the name of the variety that you are growing? Maybe we can do a search and see what type it is.

The deer would actually prefer Buckwheat.

The tomatoes may or may not continue growing depending on how much was eaten off. If they do grow the deer wil continue to trim them back to a reasonable height.
