I just built a CarryAll based on the links that SlateCreek provided. I used the CarryAll frame from TractorSupply.

One thing not detailed in the videos is the width of their boards. I measured my wheel widths and came up with 4 feet for my Kubota B2920, So I cut my CarryAll boards to 4 feet. I now think that that is to small, and I should have cut mine bigger. After looking at the videos and what they can mount in the backside of the CarryAll mount, I think they made their CarryAll about 5 feet wide.

Also, I have the Land Pride quick hitch on my 3 point, and found that the pin locations on the TractorSupply CarryAll frame are to close to the back planks to allow the quick hitch to grab them. I fixed this by bolting a 1/2 inch plank between the vertical CarryAll beams and the backing planks, in effect offsetting the backing planks .5 inch further away from the hookup pins.

I really like my CarryAll. :)

:) You have a lot smoother going into your woods than I do mine. That stuff would be scattered all over in short order. But if it works for you, great. :)

Man me too. Can you see behind you OK to hook up a log?

I built this shelve thing onto my 3ph contraption. It holds chainsaw, fuel, chains, wedges, rope, 2 snatch blocks, helmet, chaps, large hammer and sometimes my coffee. I like it because the FEL remains usable for any task that comes up.

My wife wants to know why you carry a pumpkin around on the side of your ROPS??? LOL I had to explain that it was your helmet.

I used a KK carryall frame as the basis for this two-level unit. The idea was to have my generator underneath and chain saw storage above. I also included a trailer hitch for my utility trailer. This allows me to carry everything I need for trimming trees around the property.

The upper shelf also doubles as a seat for giving tractor rides.

While all the points you guys make are valid and were a concern to me I pulled about four cords of wood with that setup last fall. It sure beats having that stuff in the loader. The shelves just pull out of the sleeves on the side and are out of the way when I'm not cutting firewood which is 10 or 11 months out of the year. One thing for sure some of those large carry all frames would get quickly banged up or hung up on trees and rocks. My setup is what I need for my particular piece of land and personal preference of cutting wood. I would hate to have to cut down more trees just so I can turn around or fit through with something big.

It seems so that things would fall out but they don't. The sides of the shelves are 3" tall and most of the loose stuff is under that level. I wear the helmet and the chaps so no risk loosing those. Believe me when I say that there is nothing smooth about the roads I travel. I don't know if you ever tried to even walk in the Maine woods. The best way to describe it is: there are a few specs of dirt between rocks and boulders. In fact nothing falls out because I have to travel slow so I don't risk tipping the tractor. I especially love the fact that I can put a travel mug in there and I have a sip of coffee every now and then.

The visibility for backing up is fine. I clamped the thing together before I welded the frame. That was to make sure I have plenty of room for hooking up logs and I can see over the top shelf when backing up.

The pumpkin... well... that was a good one. My wife likes to make fun of these things too and it keeps us both entertained.

I have to correct myself. What I really need is a nice little logging winch. Unfortunately that is not happening for the next several hundred weeks.

I welded this up to carry just about anything.
Still need to attach various tool holders for
saws, Axes, chains and such.

I will get picks but here is a description of mine. It is very much like the one EASYGo made but my tools go on behind

I used the TSC as a template but made it out of thicker steel with reinforcements. I have 3 2" square trailer hitch receivers mounted along the bottom. The outer 2 are used for my tool carrier box to slide into. I use this for saws, gas oil chains, wedges tools etc. This way I can remove the box and use the 4 hooks and 1 large ring for skidding logs.

The middle 2: receiver is for a trailer ball to move my various trailers around in the yard, they are always parked in the way.

The only thing I want to add is a chain saw scabbard so I have a place for my saw when I drop the box.

I will try and get pictures tonight.

I really like this set up and have used it a lot for my recent pasture clearing project.

I also built one very much like the one in SlateCreek's links. I put channel iron on the outer edges of the folding sides so that I can slip boards in for a variable-height tailgate. I can also use one of these boards as a seat in the carry-all box, if I need to transport a helper to the woods. I figure I can haul nearly a half-cord of wood in the carrier (with even more in the loader bucket to counter-balance things), but I'm sure this overloads the TSC carryall frame--so far without anything breaking!
Mine is built just slightly narrower than the tracks of my rear tires (on a Kioti DK45SC; about 60"?). The wooden scabbard mount for the chainsaw works really well, too.
I used PT wood for the box, since I don't have indoor storage.
Taborekle is right about the tight fit for the lower link pins on the TSC carryall. His solution of a spacer is good; I didn't think that far ahead, so I'm just going to gouge out a bit of extra clearance on the back of the boards behind the pins to make mounting a bit smoother...no big deal, really.
