I used my heat gun for the water heater

Also can be used for a great backwoods emergency hack for using on an RV when the burner/circuit board fails on the water heater or when burner fails on your gas fridge, provided you use some common sense on both.

Think they could make those pictures scroll by any faster? 😬

Looks interesting.
It does, though a bit on the pricey side.
If you click on the picture of it under "latest news" it brings you to a dedicated page for it.

I have a Harbor Freight one I use a lot. I discovered it doesn't work for a hair dryer.
I had an old 70s vintage Ungar that the heating element failed in last summer. A new HF one was cheaper than a replacement element, and was more versatile.
Don't have enough hair to need a hair dryer, but it did work great for removing vinyl lettering from a vehicle.

Just to be clear, the Bolt Buster that I linked is NOT a heat gun, or anything close to it. A heat gun won't heat a siezed bolt to cherry red. A torch is your only alternative.

I'm not sure anyone did. I didn't.
Well, the conversation went off into heat guns and I thought they might have been a presumed equivalency. No worries if not. Heat guns are good too.

Arguing DeWalt v. Milwaukee?
LOL
Thats like arguing Ford v. Chevy

Brand loyalty is so stupid. Doesn’t anyone understand thats what manufacturers want you to do? They WANT you to be a stooge for them.
They are both Chinese now so brand loyalty is kind of absurd.

We used to have something like that for lifting resistor banks out of the old drives in the drive room for the motors on the printing presses. Made things handy.
