McCormick CX105 Kubota MX 5100 HST,
A couple of weeks ago, I ordered a tooth bar from Titan Attachments.
I have been out of town for the holidays.

Got back in today and installed the tooth bar.
The tooth bar is a little longer than the inside of my Kubota 72 inch bucket. But, that's the only one they offer. So, I had to cut some off the end and re-weld a tooth and mounting plate back on.
Not a hard job since I saved some $$ over other brands.
This thing is much heavier duty than the more expensive 5 ft tooth bar on my yanmar.

I ordered a Titan tooth bar kit. Comes with a separate bar and teeth and you weld the tooth mounts on yourself. The teeth arrived last week and they are sturdy. Bar shipped separately and is scheduled for delivery today. Not sure how much I saved by getting the parts but I like to weld.

Got Photos?? When I was looking at them a long time ago, the photos didn't look HD, more light duty.

When welding alternate welding from one side of the bar to the other. Allow bar to cool off some from one tooth to another, otherwise you will end up with a big arched bar, ask me how I know, LOL

I added a Piranha tooth bar to my bucket several years ago......well made......have taken out tons of blackberries and brush. I never take it off the bucket.......have done some light digging with it.......the bar is still sharp.......a very good product.

Thanks! I’ll be careful not to end up with a tooth pretzel. I know how much weld heating and cooling can distort things.

Yes, I looked at the Piranha and it looked very good. Ended up getting the tooth bar. I could be wrong but for my purposes it looked like the teeth extend further and will work better with my upper grapple attachment, if I ever get it done. Every review I read on the Piranha was positive.

I got my Piranha Tooth Bar about 2 1/2 Years ago and it has never been off of my bucket since I installed it.

I just upgraded from prior LS XR4046HC to an XR4155HC. I just swapped out buckets as old bucket had the PTB and 3 hooks in place. No sense in starting all over for some fresh paint.

I also kept my already modified grill guard.

I got a Titan toothbar for my 5' bucket. I had to add a few inches of shim plate to fit my bucket. Nice heavy duty looking teeth. It did well pushing off-season kudzu off a trail. Also moved a dead deer out of the way of another project. I had to take it off to move the manure pile to the composting pile. It took 5 minutes to remove.

I did that on the first one I built. I might try heating the other side with a torch to try to reduce the arch.

Am also in that club. LOL

I persuaded my bar into position with a sledge but now it is as good as welded on what with sand and rust.
In fact the side hold bolts are not even needed at this point. (The rt side one simply flops around, loose)
Upside is most times the teeth are needed for what I do.
Since I have no asphalt nor need to load sand etc I can live with permanant teeth.
For smooth grading I added a HD angle to the heel of my bucket just to prevent wear on the heel. Works just fine.

here's the titan tooth bar. I don't know how it compares to the WR Long, but it seems more HD than the one on my Yanmar. I have no idea where the dealer got the one for the yanmar, But the teeth on this Titan tooth bar are much bigger, and the entire tooth bar is much heavier

I got my Titan toothbar in late Dec.,haven't even taken it out of the packaging. A 5 footer for my TC33. It's been too darn cold to mess with it. It looks like you only have one bolt on each side, is that all that is needed because of the way it hooks on to the cutting edge?

I think one bolt per side is all that is needed.
I have a different brand tooth bar on my other tractor only has one bolt per side and does fine.

My Piranha Tooth Bar has a single bolt on each end, holds fine. I do a lot of back dragging with it and it’s still solid.
