What's everyone experience with the latest bolt on Tooth Bars? Searching for a tooth bar for a new tractor. I had a great tooth bar on my last tractor using a Kubota light duty bucket I never lost a tooth off the bar or damaged my bucket. Lots of hard use and rocks. However, I can't recall where I purchased the last one from almost 20 years ago. Again, same size of Kubota tractor, with light duty bucket, LA-805 loader.
Shopping around I see low priced ones from VEVOR (China) one size fits all and that will require side spacers or washers, and more expensive built to fit bars from a few well known implement companies. I moved a few years ago, and the ground here is sandy with lots of pine roots and vines.

Thanks

I have a Rankin tooth bar. It came with clamps to secure to the bucket. I did away with the clamps and bolted it directly to the bucket. Bought it thirteen years ago - very heavy duty - works great - $430.

I had a Piranha from BXpanded on my last tractor, and I really enjoyed it. Eventually I plan to add something similar to the Kioti.

I Bought the VEVOR toothbar to fit my 713/4" inside measure bucket. They said theirs measured 711/2 inches. Did not!! Actual measure was 727/8 outside edge to outside edge. I chose to not return it, and cut and rewelded side bracket to get it to fit. In addition managed to break one of the cast steel replaceable teeth trying to install. Had to wait almost a month for a replacement. Would not recommend their toothbar. Mine seems to work ok but took a lot of grief to get it functional.

I recommend the Wicked Toothbar, quality and service is top notch. The site explains how to measure your bucket which you provide when ordering so no probleem with it fitting correctly.

I second that. I have one and what a difference it makes in bucket digging capability.

This looks like a MUCH better way of attaching it than the tabs on the ends I've seen on other tooth bars. Does anybody know why they're not all attached this way?

There are through holes in the edge of my bucket, and I guess maybe the edge is a harder grade of steel. Do most buckets have holes near the edge? I don't know what the holes are for. I've never seen anything from NH designed to fit them. I did get a urethane bucket edge, and specified holes in it to fit mine for attachment (which worked great).

You can try this place....

I have purchased 3 different tooth bars from them. All three worked perfectly. If you go to the menu on the left, they will also make custom sized / number of teeth.

All three times that I ordered, had the bars at my door within 4 days!

Smallchange - RE: toothbar attachment. I would guess most are designed for easy/quick attachment and removal. I would just bet - after 13 years being attached to my bucket - a cutting torch would be the only way to quickly remove the toothbar.

There are four 7/8" bolts holding it on.

Key word is "looks". You can get the EA Wicked that attaches that way if you want but the Standard EA method works just fine and is probably easier to install and I don't think anyone has ever had an issue with it.
