Just wanted to say thanks to all who reccommended this company as a supplier of tooth bars. I just ordered one to fit the bucket on my 402 FEL, and after much frustration with my dealer, it was a pleasure doing business with the folks at Markham.
When I ordered my tractor, I also ordered and paid for a tooth bar to be installed. When the B7800 arrived at my home, it did not have the tooth bar, and I was told by the driver that the dealership did not have the right size but it was being ordered. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif Would have been nice to have had a call from the dealership before the tractor arrived, but I figured I had to expect a few bumps. After being told that it would be arriving "any day now" three or four times, I finally went to pick it up this last Saturday. STILL didn't order the right size!! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif I got my money back and figured I'd try somewhere else.
Called Markham today, they said they would build it and SHIP IT today, and that I'll have it tomorrow!! To top it all off, even with paying the freight, I'll still save over $125.00 from the dealer cost. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Short of opening the box tomorrow and finding 60 lbs of zerks, or something this will be the most efficient, pleasant and trouble free attachment purchase I've made yet!
I'll post a few pics when I get it installed.
BTW, drill or cut?? Do I gain anything by mounting it one way or the other? I can drill it and mount it myself, or have a friend cut the hole for me with a torch, but I won't be able to do the cutting until the weekend. If it's best to cut, I'll wait but it won't be easy!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
