I'd like one myself...has anybody made their own? I did a search on here but didn't see anything specifically related to a home made tooth bar. If you have done it, could you show some pics and/or point me to the thread about it? Not trying to derail this post but the prices of tooth bars makes me think a guy could make his own for less $$....

Just that it's hard to do cost-effectively with all the right stuff...on a onesy-twosy basis.![]()
No reason that you could not make your own, provided you have the welding skills to do so. The teeth are available (google for 'em) and the materials can be purchased though steel vendors. Just that it's hard to do cost-effectively with all the right stuff...on a onesy-twosy basis.![]()
I built my own. I used just mild steel for all of it, including the teeth. It works awesome. I now have quite a few hours on it moving lots of material and no wear to speak of. I'm moving gravel and dirt,not scraping concrete. Total investment is about $40 in steel and a morning in the shop. here is a link to some pictures.

Im in the market for a Toothbar for my loader bucket and read were Markham Welding was bought out last year. Does anyone know if the new owners are offering the same quality Toothbars?
... i was able to just roll up 90% of the sod right into the bucket ...
