Mike, me bucko, I also thought the 150# weight was a bit amiss so I took a whack at my first excel spreadsheet. It will allow weight and cost modeling and the 150# looks a-ok for a 6 footer.
I'll attempt to attach it and this will also be a first (perhaps sucessfully).
You can pump in your own numbers in the lighter coloured fields and have alooky at the end result (or remove sheet protection and do anything you want). My BIG question now, in general, is will the cost of fabing it yourself exceed the picked up purchase price? Geez the self fabed cost looks high and we haven't even burned any wire yet!

Well, that didn't work so well, the post won't accept .xls format. I will forward the file to (dare I make this statement?) anyone who is interested and who has Excel capability.
