Toothbars

I have a JD 430 loader on my tractor - will the Markham Welding toothbar work on it?

Anyone else do this and know what the measurement is? I'd like to call them and get a quote.

They are waiting on a shipment of the teeth. Business is good for them right now /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. Can't wait to get mine. I'm expecting the call also!

As long as the cutting edge does not bolt on it will work. You just have to give them the interior bucket measurement 8" in from the cutting edge.

Every company experiences backorders. Great customer service also comes down to how they deal with those backorders to keep new customers happy, and get the product out the door as quickly as possible.

I did not have to deal with a backorder situation with Markham, so I had it 4 days after I ordered, but I have heard of folks who have had to wait for a week or two. When I was pricing toothbars, none of the other manufacturers could get one for my machine to a dealer in less than 2 weeks - most of them were about 4 weeks out, as no one seemed to stock one for a subcompact. In addition to the extra wait time, the next cheapest toothbar was $150 more than the Markham.

Thanks for all the replies. I think I am now convinced that I need a new "toy" to use on my big "toy". I will contact Markam since that seems to be the favored supplier. I trust you guys opinions.

I think it's about time Markham ponied up for a paid ad on TBN. They sure are getting enough business /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think I remember it being just over $200 for a 72". My 48" was $158, plus shipping...........
Go to their website or call, the young lady who answers the phone is very personable and helpful.
