"Top" function built into quick attach hitch

The quick hitch patent drawing shows a cylinder as part of the hitch, providing the pitch function. Has anyone ever done this? It may provide an easier way for a small tractor where a regular top cylinder doesn't fit.

It does not look easier to me. It looks a lot more complicated than the Hydraulic top link. Two pins and it's in. Then two hoses to hookup.

Maybe its me but to me it looks like its meant to make the top 'hook' link adjustable.Not to actually tilk the hitch itself. But then It might be how I'm seeing it..

Maybe its how i see it. But I think it looks more like its to just adjust the upper link. The hook part. but maybe it does both?

One big negative that I see about this quick hitch is that you can not use it with PTO powered equipment.

Maybe makes it easier to "quick hitch" to things not 100% compatible but I agree that it is fairly useless due to losing the PTO ability.

If you can't find a hydraulic top link to fit a tractor, then you're looking in the wrong place. If I don't list it out, I will build whatever you need. Usually at no additional cost.
