Glen, my understanding from a recent talk with a dealer is that you need 1.) the two remotes (1st one with base unit $400 the second $200) plus 2.) the T & T kit ($700). Very clean set up but rather pricey.

Mark, I'm pretty sure that does not include the hydraulic cylinders, only the valves and the necessary hoses to attach to the PB and also the 6 gang remote coupler block on back. Gannon TnT cylinders are about $300 each.

Well now I am completely confused. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif If you have to add another $600 worth of cylinders we are pushing $2000 for a working system. I guess I'll have to check again and clarify what was being quoted.

Anyone going to their Kubota dealer today?

I already have one installed. Its less expensive to add on to the block.

If you can find TnT with everything you need for $700 you better jump on it!

My information for Kubota accessories is correct. If buying in a package with a tractor the dealer should be able to sell it to you for $1300. This includes everything needed (valves, cyinders, base kits, hoses, etc.) As I said in my pevious post, we just installed this on a L4330HSTC (cab). Most people who purchase this option are contractors who can justify the added cost.

Glenn, I don't KNOW this, so feel free to disqualify me. After all, you asked for people who KNOW, not more speculation, but I'll speculate anyway.

$700 for the remote valves AND the TnT cylinders is too good to be true. I'll bet a nickle it's scenareo (1) in your note, i.e. at least 2 of the three possible remotes are a pre-requisite, and then you add the TnT kit to get the cylinders and hoses to plug into the remotes.

You could confirm if you can get a look at the parts list for the TnT kit and see if it includes valves and control levers.

This wouldn't be the first time a dealer didn't know his product line, and won't be the last. Afterall, how many dealers know how to configure a Kubota for a 3PH backhoe? It would seem not many, and I'm sure they sell lots more backhoes than TnT kits.

Yes, $700 does sound too good to be true for everything. On the other hand, $700 sounds like an awful lot to me if it is just two cylinders and four short quick connect hoses. I'll defer to those of you who have bought these cylinders and hoses for ryo tnt's for guidance. Maybe I should just sign a contract with the dealer who thinks the $700 tnt kit includes everything, and then litigate with him for several years. I've got nothing better to do anyway.

I think you are in the ballpark. $1300 sounds a lot more reasonable then $2000. Granted even $1300 is plenty, but once you use TnT, especially the top link, you will wonder why it does not just come standard, it's that important for me. Rat...
