That may well be true. I have read that ethanol is added to diesel to make biodiesel, so Ediesel may also be another reference to bio diesel. Or maybe they didn't have any bio diesel stickers so they used an ethanol. It would be interesting to ask them. I'd stick with Hess myself.

METHanol is used as part of the production process in making bio diesel, maybe THAT is where the myth (METH) originated ?

Anywho, I'm also in Mass and havn't seen any 10% ethanol diesel for sale.
I don't mess with additives, whatever comes out the pump and sends my Duramax reliably around the country probably won't hurt my Li'l twacktor.
