why are you so concerned with cleaning the streams out?? The DEP up here would have a field day if you were moving material in a waterway without a permit, and the army corps would likely be after you next.

I should have called it a spring - that's more what it is. It is my property, my spring and i am not diverting or containing the water (which is not mine). If I don't keep debris out of the "stream" it floods areas of my property when heavy rains build "beaver dams". Sorry for the confusion and thanks for your input.

:D was going to suggest you can't tow a backhoe from China to North Carolina, but you might not see the humour in that.

I have a similarly small backhoe to put on my TC26DA and in my experience the backhoe can drag my tractor around even with the brakes on and the stabilizer legs down. I would be concerned that an even lighter unit will be very limited in it's ability to dig out small trees, roots and rocks, it might do fine on spring softened soil and that is about it.

You can make a pretty good mess of a beaver dam with it, if you can get in close enough without falling in.

I bought a serious big excavator in the late fall and can't wait to try it out later this month.
