Read it again. He didn't say that you said "most"; only that Honda does not recommend towing most of their vehicles with all four wheels down. That would indicate that they DO approve towing SOME of their vehicles in that manner.

The most recent information I had, about two years ago, was that Honda had NO models that they said could be towed wheels down. And that was a change from prior years. Source was MotorHome magazine's annual towed vehicles report, with a sidebar devoted to the Honda change. On edit: The current 2009 Dinghy Guide from MotorHome indicates that the Honda Fit is OK to tow, and thhat the CRV has been tho only model which could be towed for sevceral years previous. I don't think that a single model can be classed as "many" as that would give one the impression that many different models could be towed.

Apparently you didn't read the "Contrary to the statement above," part which in my book means my statement was wrong. It was NOT.

I said "many" he said contrary to my statement "many Hondas can be towed" most could not. See below, I know of 6 models of Hondas being approved over the last few years for flat towing. I'd call 6 many.

Whatever.

I didn't specify ANY given year. Again MANY Honda models have been endorsed for towing. My dad has towed two different years of Accords with Honda's approval and the FIT, Civic, Pilot, Element and the CRV have all been approved at various times.

That is NOT a single model. I count 6.
