toy tractor 1/2 scale 8N

Here's the tractor mentioned in the Daddy /backhoe thread. I made this one from a 24 volt handicap scooter 24volt- a great sophisticated powertain for ride-on toys. Front end and steering are modified riding lawn mower and the bodywork is vacuumformed plastic over homemade wooden molds. The whole thing took about 6 months spare time to develop and build. The molds took most of that time. The boy likes it but I'm having as much fun making things as he is!
