Please try the following:

Click the Refresh button, or try again later.

If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.

To check your connection settings, click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Connections tab, click Settings. The settings should match those provided by your local area network (LAN) administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).
See if your Internet connection settings are being detected. You can set Microsoft Windows to examine your network and automatically discover network connection settings (if your network administrator has enabled this setting).
Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.
On the Connections tab, click LAN Settings.
Select Automatically detect settings, and then click OK. But I can search through the AOL home page,if I check my yahoo mail on AOL home page I get the same message, the only way I can check my yahoo mail is to log into "yahoo groups" and then check on yahoo mail. I can not get on yahoo messenger anymore it does not detect the browser. If I log on to Walmart connect it dials up and connects and the Walmart home page comes up but it does nothing but gives me an error where at least on AOL I can look around on AOL home page but not internet explore. My wife thinks some adware may have hijacked my internet browser if so how do I get it back.

Some sites require 128-bit connection security. Click the Help menu and then click About Internet Explorer to determine what strength security you have installed.
If you are trying to reach a secure site, make sure your Security settings can

Cannot find server or DNS Error

Go to Microsoft's updates page and download their Antispyware program - it's free. If you have a spyware problem it will probably get rid of it for you, and it updates itself automatically. Since I added that program, I've been spyware free for months now. Worth a try..........
