Tracks on Cut's

Those old 8N tracks were used for travelling in snow. No dirt work involved.

lol egon thats what i got.... sorta Agreed builder, I looked at the promo videos for another brand and it was a hoot. they had a soft ground test with 2 mil hummers 1 with wheels 1 with treds... the treds just took off. the wheels bounced around for a fiew seconds then sunk to the axles. the vid was going to be for a multi run test. the radio said its over the wheels broke an axle or somthing... all their tests were on trucks and the mentioned site had treds for combines to atv's.

I hope to make a treded tractor for my orchard area that is all hill. so we shal see on this.

Those Soucy tracks on the kubota 5710 (pic posted bydeerlope) are $26,000.

I also looked at them at a groomer show.

For 2x that price you can get a 2-3 year old RC100!.

And I thought $1000 was too much for the half tracks for my old Ford.

Im gona need somthing intresting though. ruddy hill behind the house gets rather steep and I have to get somthing back there to work the downed trees!

Yeah, my dear one just had a re-meltdown over the $9K I spent on our new tractor (see sig). But I have a really steep hill behind the house and I really could mow it with a setup like thta!. So for a mere $26K more...

I like tha old Ford setup, though, that's actually do-able for a handy fellow...(not me..) That ad on the previous page was cool.

So with nothing useful to contribute at all, I'll slide off into the night...
