Making photos is not allowed in the factory.
And we work quite differently with pre-bent steel, using welding clamps to let them follow contour, will not work with the 12mm upwards sheet thicknesses we work with, thats why im very interested in the solutions Bfreaky comes up with

I'm wondering why not use an oxy/acetylene torch to heat the metal in the area of the bend & then bend it? There is probably some advantage in stress reduction & weld penetration as well.

Stick some double folded heavy grit sandpaper under the jack for a bit of traction.

It did not slide because it's hooked at the right spot. Plate went down without problems. There are no new pictures because last few days I'm only heavy welding those booms

I was the only one wondering why the strap didn't break while jacking, guess I'm the only one that Murphy helps.

I've put a round thick metal plate on top of the cylinder so it could not pierce the strap

This heavy flat welding would be a good place for 5/32 7024.
