Canopy Tractor Canopy from Femco

Has anyone purchased a Femco canopy? I'm thinking of a Tuff Top for my BX and I was hoping someone could share their experiences.

Even though FedEx damaged the first one, the guy was great to work with and the new one was easy to install. I compared this canopy to one purchased from a local dealer (for 2x the $) and found I actually prefer it.

Those are some sweet covers. They look as good as the Femco if not better. Femco makes the OEM Kubota cover but you can only get that model from Kubota directly for about $400. The Tuff Top is about $279 only.

That looks exactly like the one on my TC30. Mine was dealer installed but I didn't ask who the manufacturer was. It's a very nice top, thick fiberglass and solid mounting and color matched. I paid $250 installed.

It looks very similar to the one on my TC30 also. The part number was F1921 and it was purchased from a NH dealer for $250.

Scrounger, I will go along with Pineridge I bought a Firebird canopy from my dealer for my L3710, installation was a breeze everything fit just right in addition to being a very well built unit. On top of everything else ( pun intended ) a canopy make the addition of worklights very easy, I like having my front lights on the canopy because they are 24 to 36 inches ahead of ROPS mounted lights thus giving you a better angle of light on your work area.

I called my local dealer & they have the exact Firebird fiberglass canopy instock for my Kubota. They want $430 for it. I am worried it will make noises as sometimes fiberglass does. It that skweaky raddle I dont want especially when using the loader.

No squeaky rattles here from fiberglass. I did however remove the pins in the ROPS and replaced them with grade 8 bolts to eliminate vibration from the hinge, never fold mine down anyway with 10 foot overhead doors. All is quiet now.

Tuff Top by FEMCO suck! BEWARE, I bought a couple of these units. The hardware loosens and rattles. Plastic knobs crack, the edge trim falls off. A couple of months ago while driving on a trail a thumb size branch caught my bucket and whacked the corner of my Tuff Top bending it and cracking it right at the end of the support bracket. I happened to come across my original paperwork and went to they're website. There they have a video of a top bending then snapping back into shape. Also they state they have never had to replace a panel! That's because they WON'T! I called Chris in customer service about my cracked panel and both he and his service manager said it was'nt a warrenty issue. I asked about their website claims and lifetime warrenty and he said he had no knowledge about their website statements? What a crappy company! I will complain to Tractor Supply about this terrible vender. Beware!
